Honda CB500F Summary

The Honda CB500 Hornet has been unveiled at EICMA 2023 and will replace the CB500F in Honda’s lineup from 2024 onwards. The 500cc naked streetfighter takes design inspiration from the CB500 Hornet and is powered by a 471cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine producing 47PS and 43Nm. It comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch as standard and quick-shifter available as an option. 

Features-wise, it gets a new 5-inch TFT instrument console with Honda RoadSync smartphone connectivity and a redesigned switchgear layout.

    Overall Good Bike
    The Honda CB500F is a 470cc bike with a sleek design and average to good looks. It comes with dual-channel ABS and front and rear disk brakes. It can go up to a top speed of around 190 kmph and has good performance. It has a 17-liter field tank and a liquid-cooled engine. The overall riding experience was powerful and the bike felt great except for a little discomfort while riding due to a little low handlebar. It can be great for shorter distances but for long rides, it feels uncomfortable. It gives around 28 kilometers per liter which are not bad compared to the performance.
