The last week of November has been pretty electrifying, especially for the electric two-wheelers. From thrilling launches, updates and reveals to spy shots of upcoming bikes and more. If you happened to miss the action, here are the highlights news from this week:
Ola Gig & S1 Z Scooter Range Launched
Ola Electric has launched two new electric scooters in India – the Gig and the S1 Z. The Gig features a minimalist design and is available in two variants: the standard Gig has a top speed limited to 25kmph, whereas the Gig+ offers a top speed of 45kmph. The S1 Z, on the other hand, has a conventional scooter design and also comes in two variants: the standard S1 Z and the S1 Z+. Both models share the same motor battery and features, but the standard variant comes without accessories, and the S1 Z+ comes with accessories and luggage carriers.
Updated River Indie Launched
The updated River Indie electric scooter has been launched in India. It remains the same in terms of design, battery and motor specs, but gets a very important hardware feature upgrade, which would enhance its capabilities and reinforce its tagline - SUV of scooters more effectively than before.
Gravton Quanta Electric Motorcycle Launched
Telangana-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer, Gravton Motors, has launched the new Quanta electric motorcycle in India. The manufacturer claims that the Quanta is the first all-terrain electric motorcycle in India with an LMFP (Lithium Manganese Iron Phosphate) battery pack. The electric motorcycle delivers a claimed range of 125km on a single charge and has a top speed of 75kmph.
Honda Activa e: & QC1 Electric Scooters Unveiled
Honda has finally unveiled the Activa e: and the QC1 electric scooters in India. Both the e-scooters share a similar design but differ in terms of motor, battery, features and more. The QC1 comes with a fixed 1.5kWh battery pack whereas the Honda Activa e: is more premium and comes with two swappable battery packs. Both the scooters will be launched together in January 2025 in a phased manner.

The upcoming Lectrix NDuro electric scooter has been spied testing at the NATRAX facility in Madhya Pradesh, ahead of its launch on December 3. The scooter has been put through several challenging tests at the NATRAX including, a dirt track test, water wading test, potholes test and more, proving its robust build quality.
