Indian Springfield

15 February 2018: Indian Springfield bagger is a versatile road machine with a hint of tradition packed in its styling and comfort. The cruiser has been bolted on an all-new chassis that carves corners in an ideal manner. The new chassis also has a trunk for enhanced storage and passenger comfort. For storage, there are hard and spacious electronic saddlebags that come with lockable lids and weatherproof seals. The cast aluminium frame gives it a perfect structure while the chrome headlight cluster, handlebars, mirrors and instrument panel bless it a distinctive look. Adding to the features are ABS, cruise control, keyless ignition, light bar, tire pressure monitoring, 9 LED telltale indicators, tank mounted electronic speedometer, odometer, digital tachometer and dual trip meters. The bike is powered by a Thunder Stroke III 1811cc engine with a closed loop fuel injection system that produces 150Nm of peak torque at 2,900rpm. Mated to a 6-speed transmission system, it can yield a fuel economy of 20Kmpl. On the suspension front, it has a conventional telescopic front fork and single shock absorber with air adjust at the rear. It sports dual 300mm disc brake and single 300mm disc at the front and rear respectively. It comes with a fuel tank capacity of 20.8 litres, a low seat height of 660mm inches and an extended wheelbase of 1701mm.
