With this feature, the Hero Lectro C5X lets you charge its battery anywhere, making charging a hassle-free affair. Like other electric bicycles from Hero Lectro, the new C5X is also a good eco-friendly and healthy commuting solution for short city rides.

The Hero Lectro C5X is available in two colour options – Black with red graphics and Black with green graphics. Both colour options of Hero Lectro C5X are available for Rs 41,999.

Hero Lectro C5X Key Features

The Hero Lectro C5X also comes with reflectors at both front and rear. Due to its slightly premium positioning, the C5X gets an LED display with pedal assist modes, but this small screen lacks Bluetooth connectivity. 

The PVC throttle grip gets a simple on/off switch. With an 18-inch light weight aluminium alloy frame, the Hero Lectro C5X also has a chain stay-mounted side stand.

Hero Lectro C5X Motor and Battery

Powering the rear wheel of the Hero Lectro C5X is a basic 0.25kW hub-mounted electric motor. This electric motor propels the C5X to a top speed of slightly under the 25kmph mark in pure electric mode, although you can reach a higher top speed by just pedalling. That said, there are no multiple gears in this electric bicycle.

The Hero Lectro C5X also gets an external-mounted 5.8Ah detachable battery, which can be conveniently charged anywhere. This battery pack returns a maximum range of 25km in the pure electric mode and 30km in the pedelec (pedals with electric assist) mode, and takes 3-4 hours for a complete charge.

The Hero Lectro C5X is a hardtail electric bicycle that comes with a telescopic fork offering 80mm travel. The 27.5-inch alloy spoke wheels of the Hero Lectro C5X have tube-type tyres wrapped over them, along with mechanical discs at both ends.
