Ather Energy has announced its entry into the Sri Lankan two-wheeler space. The EV maker will be opening its first experience centre by the end of 2024. The company is collaborating with Evolution Auto Private Limited, a joint venture between Sensei Capital Partners, Atman Group, and Sino Lanka Private Limited to open its experience centre on the island country. 

Along with opening its centre, Ather Energy will also be focusing on building infrastructure for fast charging in Sri Lanka. Earlier in 2023, Ather entered its first international market, Nepal. It is now well-established there with 3 experience centres and 7 fast-charging stations across the country. Currently, the Ather 450X and Ather 450S electric scooters are being sold in Nepal. We believe the same models will be available in Sri Lanka too.

Ather Energy offers an array of electric scooters to choose from, from the recently launched Ather Rizta, a family-oriented scooter to the sporty Ather 450 Apex electric scooters. The Ather range of scooters begins from Rs 1,09,999 going up to Rs 1,94,998 (all prices ex-showroom Bengaluru), so there’s something for everyone. The line-up also includes the Ather 450S and Ather 450X.
