The Maestro Edge 125 carries forward the smaller 110cc Maestro Edge’s bodywork with minor updates. It gets six new colour options: Pearl Fadeless White, Panther Black, Matte Bue, Matte Brown, Matte Vernier Grey and Matte Red.

It gets a triangular LED DRL on the front apron. This light reminds us of Iron Man. The headlamp uses a conventional halogen setup.

The top spec FI variant comes with a two-tone bodywork with plastic panels in a contrasting colour. It gets a retractable hook under the rear seat.

The seat is long and wide and gets a two-tone fabric texture.

The instrument console and switchgear have been carried over from the smaller 110cc Maestro Edge. However, while the Maestro Edge 110 got a silver trim, the Maestro Edge 125 gets a black finish instead.

Like the Maestro Edge 110, the Maestro Edge 125 gets a 4-in-1 ignition lock. Besides locking the handlebar and switching on the scooter's ignition, the key also unlocks the seat and fuel filler cap.

The Maestro Edge 125 gets an external fuel filler cap which remotely opens via the ignition key slot.

The Maestro Edge 125 gets a boot light to be able to find stuff in the dark as well. It also has slots and bins to keep documents and small items in place.

The boot also has an inbuilt USB charger from which you can charge your smartphone on the go.

The Maestro Edge 125 is available in both carburetted and fuel-injected versions.

The Maestro Edge 125 carb makes 8.83PS and 10.2Nm of torque while the Maestro Edge 125 FI delivers a higher 9.24PS and the same 10.2Nm of torque. Both bikes get a variomatic transmission.

The Maestro Edge 125 gets larger 12-inch front and 10-inch rear wheels. All variants of the Maestro Edge get black alloy wheels. Like the Maestro Edge 110, the more powerful Maestro Edge 125 gets telescopic forks and single rear shock absorber.

Braking comes in the form of a new 190mm front disc clamped with ByBre calipers. It is optional on the i3S variants but standard on the FI variant. All variants of the Maestro Edge 125 get a rear drum brake and CBS.

The Maestro Edge 125 is available in three variants:
Maestro Edge 125 FI: Rs 62,700
Maestro Edge 125 i3S Carb with disc Rs 60,000
Maestro Edge 125 i3S Carb with drum Rs 58,500
