It’s likely to be offered in two variants
The Activa 6G produces slightly less power than the 5G model. It’s likely to get a new design along with more features. Expect a price hike of around Rs 6,000 to Rs 8,000.Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer Honda is all set to launch the Activa 6G in India tomorrow. It will replace the Activa 5G and is expected to come equipped with a greener, more fuel-efficient engine, revised styling, and a couple of extra features.

The key difference between the Activa 6G and 5G will be its motor. The updated model will draw power from a 109.51cc engine which features fuel-injection and has been reworked for lower tailpipe emissions. The scooter now makes 7.8PS in total -- that’s 0.3 PS less than the BS4 model at 500rpm higher. While there’s no mention of its torque output, we suspect it’s likely to remain unchanged at 9Nm.

But the changes don't end there. The Activa 6G is 72mm longer than the Activa 5G (1761mm), which could hint towards an external fuel-filler cap. In terms of cosmetic and feature updates, the Activa 6G gets a digital instrument console and an LED headlight, which we believe may be revised for 2020. Expect the 6G to get a new design and redesigned bodywork too. Other notable features may come in the form of an ACG starter, and a stop-start system for improved fuel efficiency.
Its underpinnings are likely to remain unchanged with a trailing link front suspension design and monoshock at the rear. Its braking setup will comprise of drum units at both ends paired with CBS (Combined Braking System).
