Ola Could Have Something In Store For Us This Independence Day

As has been the case with previous August 15ths, this one too could be dominated by some exciting news from Ola

After launching its first ever electric scooter in 2021, and then its most affordable one in 2022, Ola Electric has something grand planned for 2023 as well. The Bengaluru-based manufacturer is all set to bring in something new again and here’s what we think it could be: 

Ola Electric Motorcycle

Ola announced a bunch of electric motorcycles earlier this year and we think Ola could give a sneak peak to at least one of the motorcycles this August 15. It could very well be a bike with a Scrambler-esque design as Bhavish Aggarwal, the brand’s CEO, was recently seen riding the Ducati Scrambler. If nothing else, we might at least get to see a design sketch indicating how Ola’s upcoming electric scrambler could look like.

Ola S1 Pro Classic

Ola’s CEO Bhavish Aggarwal recently put out a teaser for a new scooter on Twitter and you can check that out here. The teaser showed a scooter with a windscreen and we think Ola could do something similar to what TVS did with the Jupiter Classic. With elements like a windscreen, cushioned backrest and maybe some retro colours, Ola could bring out something old-school. 

The Ola S1 Pro is otherwise quite a funky-looking scooter so it’d be interesting to see how a retro iteration of the same pans out.

Along with these things, Ola recently also teased two new colour schemes for the S1. While it was scheduled for July, things could’ve been pushed to August. And finally, we could even see deliveries of the S1 Air commence this month.
