That’s a steep hike but then the bike’s price had remained unchanged for around half a year. It is still hard to digest that the bike is nudging closer to the Rs 2.5 lakh bracket. That said, the Apache RR 310 BS6 is still the most affordable motorcycle to get legitimate riding modes.

There are four riding modes on offer. The engine is restricted to 25.9PS and 25Nm under the Urban and Rain modes. On the other hand, the Sport and Track modes unleash the full 34PS and 27.3Nm on tap. However, the two modes can be activated only after the first service. The ride modes also affect how the ABS behaves.
For those wondering whether the bike’s refinement has been improved over the BS4 model, fret not, as TVS has taken a number of steps to make the engine run as smoothly as possible. We have ridden the motorcycle out on public roads extensively, so do check out our exclusive road test review here. In terms of alternatives, the only BS6-compliant rival to the TVS Apache RR 310 BS6 is the KTM RC 390, which is priced at Rs 2,53,184 (ex-showroom Delhi). That makes it Rs 8,184 dearer than the Apache RR 310.
