    Q.

Is RV 400 an updated version of RV 300?

    • Bikedekho experts
    • on 11 Jan 2022

The Revolt RV 400 is the right step in the direction of electric mobility in a challenging market like India. It offers modern looks, reasonably affordable pricing, and promises low-running costs, making the Revolt RV 400 an ideal contender for those who want a fuss-free, eco-friendly commuter motorcycle to ride within city limits. On the other hand, the Revolt RV300 comes with a smaller 1.5kW hub motor compared to the RV400’s 3kW motor that is mounted inside the frame. The lithium-ion battery is also a smaller 60V, 2.7kWh unit which offers a claimed range of 80-150km. The range isn’t all that different from the RV400 and Revolt has achieved this by limiting the bike’s top speed in different modes. In Eco mode, the RV300’s top speed is restricted to just 25kmph whereas in Normal mode it can reach up to 45kmph. In Sports mode, the RV300 can travel at speeds up to 65kmph.
