Bajaj Pulsar N250 Price:

The Pulsar N250 is available for a starting price of 1,50,829 (ex-showroom Delhi), a small premium of Rs 851. It comes in 3 colour schemes: Red, White and Black.

Bajaj Pulsar N250 Features:

The Bajaj Pulsar N250 is equipped with a fully LED lighting setup. It comes with a fully digital instrument console displaying information like speed, odometer, fuel level, mileage, and other essential details. Along with this, the console also provides smartphone connectivity with call and SMS alerts, along with a turn-by-turn navigation as well.

The N250 now also gets electronic riding aids such as traction control and 3 ABS modes, both firsts on a Bajaj bike. The ABS modes include Rain, Road and On/Off-Road, which modulates ABS intervention accordingly. The On/Off-road mode doesn’t turn off the ABS at the rear, but it dials it down significantly and allows the bike to slide a bit. The traction control can be turned off only in this mode. The bike also gets a tank-mounted USB port for added convenience. There’s also a button on the left switchgear which allows for menu navigation within the digital instrument cluster.

Bajaj Pulsar N250 Engine:

Powered by the same 249.07cc air-/oil-cooled single-cylinder engine as the Pulsar F250, the Pulsar N250 also produces the same output of 24.5PS at 8750rpm and 21.5Nm at 6500rpm. It gets a 5-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch.

Bajaj Pulsar N250 Suspension & Brakes:

The Pulsar N250 comes with a split-tubular frame. It gets a 37mm inverted fork and a preload-adjustable Nitox monoshock. For braking, the bike is equipped with a 300mm front disc and a 230mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS. It rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in a 110-section front and 140-section rear tubeless tyre. The bike has a wheelbase of 1342mm, a seat height of 800mm and a kerb weight of 164kg. The fuel tank has a capacity of 14 litres.

Bajaj Pulsar N250 Rivals:

The Bajaj Pulsar N250 rivals the KTM 250 Duke and Suzuki Gixxer 250 in the 250cc street fighter segment. Moreover, the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and Bajaj Pulsar NS200 are other options that you can consider, in a similar price range.

Pulsar N250 Expert Review

BikeDekho Experts
With the 2024 updates, the Bajaj Pulsar N250 is the most feature-rich bike among its rivals. It gets sporty looks, good performance, comfortable ride quality and lots of features. You should definitely consider the Pulsar N250 as your next purchase if you are in the market for a do-it-all 250cc naked bike that is also affordable at the same time.

Overview

The Bajaj Pulsar N250 is the biggest bike in the Pulsar line-up and stands out as the naked sibling of the Pulsar F250. Let’s find out how it performs in real life:

Bajaj Pulsar N250 Review

Design

The Pulsar N250 is a very good looking bike. Its headlight design has a closer resemblance to a Yamaha, especially the Yamaha FZ25, than a usual Bajaj design language. At the front, the N250 comes with a single LED projector headlight and tank extensions. The bike's overall sporty appearance is further complemented by a compact exhaust and a tyre hugger.

The 2024 model year received new graphics and paint schemes (Brooklyn Black, Pearl Metallic White, and Glossy Racing Red) which make the bike standout its 160cc naked sibling, the Bajaj Pulsar N160 and the rest of the lineup as well. Also, the inverted fork, especially in the Champagne Gold colour (available in the Pearl Metallic White and Glossy Racing Red colour options) gives the bike a more premium road presence compared to the previous model.

Bajaj Pulsar N250 Design Review

Engine, Mileage & Performance

The Pulsar N250 is powered by a 249.07cc air-/oil-cooled single-cylinder engine, delivering a peak output of 24.5PS and 21.5Nm. Paired with a 5-speed gearbox, it also has a slip-and-assist clutch. Despite featuring a less sophisticated engine, the N250 matches the power output of the Pulsar NS200 and claims the highest torque among all Pulsar models. The N250 delivers a claimed mileage of 43.60kmpl in the city and 42.23kmpl on the highway.

Thanks to its light clutch, navigating through city traffic is effortless for the Pulsar N250, particularly in third or fourth gear.  Although most gear shifts are smooth, there might be a slight roughness when shifting to third at times. Notably, the engine refinement of the N250 is impressive, with only a minor buzz experienced at the handlebars, footpegs, and seat at high speeds.

Bajaj Pulsar N250 Performance Review

Handling & Ride Quality

The Bajaj Pulsar N250 offers good handling and is very agile. The inverted fork and the 110 section front and 140-section rear tyre setup makes the bike feel quite stable when leaned over during corners. Its suspension system efficiently absorbs bumps and potholes, delivering a comfortable ride. The N250 is equipped with dual-channel ABS, which adds an extra layer of safety when the need to brake hard arises.

The 3 ABS modes (Road, Rain and Offroad) work quite seamlessly in reducing wheel lock with different levels of assistance from the ABS system according to the mode selected. This makes the bike the one of the most feature-loaded ones in its segment.

Bajaj Pulsar N250 Review

Comfort

The Pulsar N250 provides a comfortable and relaxed riding position, thanks to its easy-to-reach handlebar. Featuring mildly rear-set footpegs, it delivers a sporty feel and allows riders to grip the tank with their knees conveniently. The narrow seat ensures that shorter riders can easily place their feet flat on the ground, and the seat itself offers ample space. While the bike is well-suited for covering long distances, riders may eventually experience fatigue, given the absence of a windscreen to deflect the wind.

Bajaj Pulsar N250 Review

Features

The Bajaj Pulsar N250 is equipped with all LED lights, featuring a single projector headlight and LED tail light. It has an LCD instrument console that shows speedometer, odometer, distance to empty, mileage readouts, and other regular readouts. It also gets Bluetooth connectivity for calls and SMS alerts and turn-by-turn navigation. The bike also comes with practical features such as a USB charging port and backlit switchgear, which helps in easily operating the buttons at night. It also gets traction control, which is a first on any Pulsar bike and it does a great job of reducing wheel slippage on gravel surfaces.

Bajaj Pulsar N250 Review

Should you buy

With a price tag of Rs 1,50,829 (ex-showroom Delhi), the Bajaj Pulsar N250 offers a fantastic package of good performance, agile yet stable handling characteristics, comfortable riding experience and an extensive list of features (the most extensive, in fact). So, if you are in the market for a sporty 250cc naked that takes care of all your needs and is still quite affordable for what it offers, the Pulsar N250 is a very good option to consider.
