Ducati Hypermotard 950

Ducati has launched the Hypermotard 950 SP in India at Rs 19.05 lakh (ex-showroom). Check out the details here. 

The Ducati Hypermotard 950 is the only supermoto-type motorcycle on sale in India and is powered by a BS6-compliant 937cc, twin-cylinder engine putting out 114PS and 96Nm. The bike gets a 6-speed and slipper clutch as standard. Bi-directional quickshifter is available as optional on the standard model and as standard on the RVE and the SP variants. The standard and the RVE models get a suspension setup consisting of fully-adjustable 45mm inverted fork from Marzocchi with 170mm wheel travel and a Sachs monoshock with adjustability for preload and rebound with 150mm wheel travel. The SP variant gets a 48mm fully-adjustable inverted fork 185mm wheel travel and a fully adjustable monoshock with 175mm wheel travel (both from Ohlins). The braking setup on all three variants consists of dual 320mm front disc brakes with radially mounted 4-piston Monobloc Brembo calipers and a single 245mm disc brake with 2-piston caliper with Bosch’s Cornering ABS as standard.

Features-wise, the 950 SP gets a 4.3-inch TFT instrument cluster, 3 ride modes: Sport, Touring and Urban, rider aids like wheelie control, and traction control, LED lighting and a USB charging port.
The Hypermotard 950 doesn’t have any direct rivals. But, for around the same money, you can also consider the Aprilia Tuono 660, the Triumph Street Triple RS, and the Ducati Monster.
