Does the XPulse 200 4V fill the performance void?
The Hero XPulse 200 has been a seasoned off-roader and has earned its name through the years. However, the same couldn’t be said about its highway/touring capabilities. But Hero has attempted to change that with the addition of a 4-valve setup. This has given the XPulse 200 a minor bump in the power and torque, but is it enough?

Verdict
While the updates have made the XPulse 200 4V a better commuter, it still lacks the oomph you’d need for highway riding. Not to mention, with the revised suspension setup, the bike is even more comfortable now. As compared to the previous iteration, the XPulse 200 4V was priced at just Rs 5,000 more during its launch. While we would have appreciated a bit more grunt, given its current pricing and off-road ability, the Xpulse remains the best option for someone trying to kickstart their off-road journey.
