Honda Rebel 500 Summary

Honda plans to launch the Honda Rebel 500 in India by the end of 2021. This will be the Japanese brand's first cruiser in the country and is likely to be priced at Rs 4.5 lakh (ex-showroom). Powering the Honda Rebel 500 is a 471cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled motor, which generates 45.5PS at 8500rpm and 44.6Nm at 6000rpm. It is mated to a 6-speed transmission with slip-assist clutch. The Honda Rebel 500 comes with a claimed mileage of 26kmpl.

 The motorcycle comes with 41mm telescopic front fork, twin rear shock absorbers, 296mm front disc and 240mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS. The 16-inch front and rear wheels are shod with fat 130-section front and 150-section rear rubber respectively. When launched, it will essentially slot between the affordable Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and the premium Kawasaki Vulcan S and Harley-Davidson Street 750 in the Indian market.

Honda has also launched a Bobber Special Edition variant of the Rebel 500 in Thailand which will be produced in a limited run of 100 units. It is around Rs 29,000 more expensive than the standard version in Thailand.

    Good for budget 500 segment
    The rebel 500 is overall a nice bike and nice for beginner to moderate experienced riders looking for 500cc segment bikes..you cannot expect performance like 1800cc harleys on this one but it sure is good for city rides

    The Bike Is Over Priced. Quote Affordable Price
    Honestly, The bike is overpriced. When you get Royal Enfield Meteor 650 Cc for 3.5 to 4 lakhs on the road Honda Rebel 500 price should be quoted somewhere around 2 to 2.3 lakhs on the road with all modern features like Bluetooth connectivity, side stands automatic anti-breaking lock system, slipper clutch, and most importantly kick start which most of the bikes misses as it might help when the battery is low on emergency conditions. So please install kick start also.

    My Favorite Honda Bike
    I am using Honda Rebel 500 Bike and this is my favorite bike because it comes with good features and it looks amazing. This bike is very comfortable to ride. This bike comes with a good wheelbase and ground clearance with good safety features. It has Digital Console. This is a very good cruiser bike at an affordable price.
