2024 Bajaj Chetak Urbane Variant Launched At Rs 1.15 Lakh
The Urbane’s TecPac sub-variant comes with a higher top speed and longer range than the Premium variant
The 2024 version of the Urbane variant of the Bajaj Chetak has been launched at prices starting from Rs 1,15,001 (ex-showroom Bengaluru). It is available in two sub-variants called Standard and TecPac. Here are the variant-wise prices:

The 2024 Urbane variant gets the same 2.9kWh battery pack as the Premium variant but gets a 113km range, compared to the 108km claimed range of the Premium variant (both ARAI-certified). In the standard variant, the Chetak Urbane has a top speed of 63kmph while in the TecPac variant, it has a top speed of 73kmph.
The standard variant gets a single riding mode called Eco mode while the TecPac variant gets an additional one called Sport. Other features in the TecPac variant include hill hold, reverse mode, and the full range of smartphone connectivity features like tamper alerts, OTA updates, and more. The Urbane trim also comes with a 650W (down from the 800W one on the Chetak Premium) charger that takes 4 hours and 50 minutes to fully charge the electric scooter.
The electric scooter from Bajaj is available in four colour options: Cyber White, Matte Coarse Grey, Indigo Metallic, and Brooklyn Black. It gets drum brakes at both ends, compared to the front disc brake and rear drum brake setup in the Premium variant. Apart from this, the rest of the scooter remains unchanged. It has the same curvy design language and comes equipped with the same round, coloured LCD console.
