Ampere EV has unveiled its Xyber Concept Bike at Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. It is the brand's first electric motorcycle.
Design
A distinctive design element of the Xyber is its ‘Artic Tem’ wings inspired Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) and tail-light. Ampere claims that these unique lighting features not only improve visibility but also give the bike a futuristic and eye-catching look.
Battery & Motor
The Ampere Xyber uses a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery with a claimed real world range of 200km on a single full charge. The battery pack capacity and other details have not been revealed yet. The bike is powered by a 10kW electric motor, with a claimed top speed of 100 kmph.
Underpinnings
The Xyber has 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends, an inverted fork, a mono-shock, and a disc brake both at the front and rear, coupled with an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) system.
Charging
The motorcycle is claimed to support both AC and DC fast charging. With both of these charging options, the bike can be conveniently charged at home or at compatible fast charging stations outside.
