As the weather is getting colder every day after New Year’s Eve, the bike industry is warming up with exciting new updates from all directions. The second week of January turned out to be pretty interesting with thrilling new launches, spy shots, insights on upcoming bikes and more. If you happened to miss the action, here’s a quick news recap to get you up to speed:
1. 2025 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 Launched
Bajaj Auto has launched the 2025 Pulsar RS200 in India. While the overall design remains similar as before. The faired Bajaj bike now comes with an updated rear indicators and tail light design along with new colour options. The bike has also received feature updates with a negative-LCD console from the Pulsar NS400Z, ride modes and more.
2. Suzuki V-Strom SX and Gixxer Range Launched
Suzuki Motorcycle India has updated its 150cc-250cc range for 2025. Models like the V-Strom SX, Gixxer, Gixxer SF, Gixxer SF 250, and Gixxer 250 now feature new colour options along with updated OBD-compliant engines. However, all five bikes have also received a small price hike.
3. LML Star Electric Scooter To Launch In India Soon
LML (or, Lohia Machinery Limited, of the LML Scooters fame) has sold some successful scooters in India like LML Vespa, LML Select scooter and LML Graptor. Now, LML is set to make a strong comeback to the Indian scooter market with a new electric scooter called the LML Star.
4. Hero Xtreme 250R Spied Without Camo
The upcoming Hero Xtreme 250R has been spied on in India without camouflage ahead of its launch. The bike was previously showcased at the EICMA 2024, in Italy. Our sources tell us that the bike was spied on during a television commercial shoot. This also hints that the bike will be launched very soon.
5. Royal Enfield Interceptor 750 Spotted Testing
Earlier, there were rumours that Royal Enfield was working on a new 750cc engine, but there wasn’t much evidence to back them up. Recently, however, a new Royal Enfield bike, believed to be the upcoming Interceptor 750, has been spotted testing in India. This adds weight to the speculation that a new 750cc engine is in development.
