Bajaj Updates The Chetak E-scooter For 2023 With More Range

Modified On Mar 2, 2023 01:11 PM By Nishaad for Bajaj Chetak [2020 - 2024]

The very retro-y Chetak gets a much-needed touch of modernity

Bajaj has updated its only electric offering, the Chetak, for 2023. The e-scooter’s now available in three new colour schemes: Matte Coarse Grey, Matte Caribbean Blue and Satin Black; of which the grey and black colourways look quite attractive and gel well with the scooter’s overall retro-style look.

New changes include a dual-tone seat, body-coloured rear-view mirrors, a black grab rail, and matching pillion footrest castings, all of which accentuate the Chetak’s old school vibe. What’s also new is the colour LCD console with blacked-out bezels. The Chetak's range still stands at 108km (ARAI-certified range) and a 90km real-world range.

Bajaj has now also undertaken supply chain restructuring and development programmes with vendors, scaling up the Chetak’s production to more than 10,000 units every month. Its partnership with electric mobility brand Yulu has also spawned two new products, which you can check out here. Bookings for the updated scooter are now open with deliveries scheduled from April onwards.
