BikeDekho Opinion: Honda Electric Moped Expected Pricing
Could it be something based on the Honda U-Go e-moped?
Honda recently revealed its future electric mobility plans for the Asian markets. While one of them will be the Honda Activa Electric, the other one which is set to launch first will be an electric moped from the Japanese marquee.
The e-moped is likely to be based on the Honda U-Go electric considering that Honda had filed a design patent for the moped in India in June 2022. That said, the electric offering is likely to be fairly bare-bones and we can expect it to not boast a long or even a premium feature list.
In terms of performance, the e-moped is likely to get a top speed of around 50kmph and a range of 75km, similar to that of the Honda U-Go.

While the e-moped might not have a long features list and impressive figures, Honda will focus more on the charging and swappable battery infrastructure which it has been testing for quite some time now. And knowing Honda, quality should be top-notch as well.
With the performance and the pricing, the e-moped will fall in the same range and rival the Hero Electric Photon LP series.
