BREAKING: Honda Activa 6G Premium Edition Is Finally Here

Costs a minimal premium over the DLX variant

After teasing its launch, Honda has finally launched the Premium Edition of the Activa 6G for Rs 75,400 (ex-showroom Delhi). While the earlier speculation was that it might be the seventh generation of the Activa, we covered in our last story how it’ll probably be a special edition.

The Premium Edition features gold coloured wheels and badges, a gold garnish on the front apron, which adds a premium feeling to the Activa. The brown finishing on the seat and footboard gives the scooter a neat look. To top it off, you also get a 3D golden emblem as well as a logo that says ‘Premium’. The special edition is available in three new colours: Matte Sangria Red Metallic, Matte Marshal Green Metallic and Pearl Siren Blue.

Mechanically the scooter is unchanged with its 109.5cc engine making 7.79PS and 8.84Nm. A price tag of Rs 75,400 (ex-showroom Delhi) means you get a more stylish-looking scooter for Rs 1,000 more, over the DLX variant’s price. That said, we wish Honda had thrown in some more goodies, like a front disc brake or alloy wheels. Maybe the Japanese giant is reserving that for the Activa 7G? Stay tuned to BikeDekho for more.
