Breaking: Keeway Sixties 300i and Vieste 300 Prices Revealed
Here’s how much the retro and the maxi scooter from Keeway costs
After a brief waiting period of ten days, Keeway, a Chinese-owned Hungarian Manufacturer, has revealed the prices of its scooters for the Indian market. The Sixties 300i and the Vieste 300, both carry an introductory price tag of Rs 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Sixties 300i is the most powerful retro-themed scooter in the country, which also flaunts a classy design with intriguing styling elements. However, a price tag of Rs 2.99 lakh, for what’s essentially a scooter, is an extremely high asking price. It is powered by a 278.2cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine producing 18.7PS and 19Nm.
If you did want a capable retro-style scooter, then there is the Vespa Elegante 150, priced at Rs 1.49 lakh, which will leave you with a good amount of money even after buying the scooter.
While the Keeway Vieste 300 is a proper maxi-scooter, which is also the most powerful under the 300cc category, the price tag of Rs 2.99 lakh is a bit on the more expensive side. It gets the same powertrain, and power and torque outputs as the Sixties 300i. The Vieste 300 also acts as the middle ground for the much more expensive BMW C 400 GT, and the Yamaha Aerox 155. That said, the Yamaha Aerox 155 maxi-style scooter is priced at Rs 1,36,800 (ex-showroom Delhi) and makes for a great performance-oriented scooter at a more affordable price point.

With the exorbitant scooter prices, we can expect Keeway to price the cruiser around Rs 3.25 lakh (ex-showroom). Additionally, Keeway is also planning to launch five motorcycles this year, with an electric two-wheeler lined up for the Indian market next year. Stay tuned to BikeDekho for more details.
