TVS has launched the Radeon with a new All Black colour option, which is available only for the base variant. The Radeon base variant has also received a price cut of Rs 2,525 and the prices now start at Rs 59,880 (ex-showroom).

TVS Radeon: What’s New?

The TVS Radeon now comes in a total of 8 colour schemes. The base variant is available in five colours: Starlight Blue, Metal Black, Royal Purple, Titanium Grey, and the latest All-Black colour. The Digi Drum and Digi Disc variants are available in three colour options: DT Blue Black, DT Red Black and Black colour options.

The new Radeon All Black gets a similar black paint scheme with red and white graphics as the Metal Black colour option. In this paint scheme, the grab rail, exhaust, bend pipe, rear shocks and headlight cover are also blacked out; they are chrome-finished in the other colourways. The seat is also black in the new colour, which is brown in the Metal Black colour.

TVS Radeon: What’s Unchanged?

All variants of the Radeon are powered by a 109.7cc, fuel-injected, single-cylinder engine that produces 8.08PS at 7,350rpm and 8.7Nm at 4,500rpm. It is paired with a 4-speed gearbox.

Being available in the base variant, the new Radeon All Black features a twin-pod analogue instrument cluster. It shows a speedometer, odometer, eco/power indicator, fuel gauge, and a side stand alert along with other basic tell-tale lights.

The TVS Radeon is built on a single-cradle tubular frame. It gets a telescopic fork at the front and 5-step preload-adjustable twin shocks at the rear. Both base and Digi Drum variants come fitted with 130mm front and 110mm rear drum brakes, with CBS (combined braking system) as standard. Whereas, the Digi Disc variant gets a 240mm front disc brake.

The bike rides on 18-inch alloy wheels on both ends, equipped with 70mm (2.5-inch) front and 76.2mm (3-inch) tubeless tyres. It has a 10-litre fuel tank and 180mm ground clearance. The drum variants weigh 113kg (kerb), while the disc variants weigh 115kg.

The TVS Radeon rivals the other 100-110cc commuter bikes including the Hero Splendor Plus, Honda Shine 100, Bajaj Platina 110, and its own sibling the TVS Sport.
