BS6 Honda Activa 125 Bookings Commence
Honda to start delivering the 2019 Activa 125 to customers by the end of this month
The 2019 Activa 125 is priced from Rs 67,490 to Rs 74,490. The 125cc BS6-compliant motor is slightly less powerful than before. It gets an external fuel-filler cap, a new instrument cluster and a start-stop system.According to our sources, select Honda dealers across the country have commenced bookings for the newly-launched BS6-compliant Activa 125. The token amount varies from Rs 1,000 to Rs 5,000, depending on the city and deliveries will begin by the end of this month. The updated model is available in three variants - standard, alloy and Deluxe - and is priced from Rs 67,490 to Rs 74,490 (both prices, ex-showroom Delhi). This makes the new Activa 125 around Rs 6,800 more expensive than the older model.

In terms of features, the 2019 Activa 125 comes equipped with an external fuel-filler cap, an LED headlamp and a new semi-digital instrument cluster which displays the average and real-time fuel efficiency and distance-to-empty. Moreover, it also gets a side-stand engine immobiliser, pass light switch as well as an engine start-stop system, which is a first for a Honda scooter sold in India.

It is powered by a new fuel-injected motor which makes 8.29PS at 6000rpm. Compared to its predecessor, this motor develops 0.34PS less power. But with the addition of the start-stop tech and fuel-injection, the manufacturer claims that the new Activa 125 is 13 per cent more efficient than before.
