Slowly, yet steadily, the electric scooter segment has been gaining momentum in the country with sales of these EVs increasing with each passing month. According to data released by SIAM, in May 2022, these manufacturers had sold the most number of EVs:

Interestingly, both Bajaj and TVS have managed to almost double the sales of their EVs in May, whereas in April 2022, only 1,246 units of the Chetak and 1,420 units of iQube Electric were sold.

When it comes to Ather, the Bengaluru-based EV manufacturer has recorded the highest sales since its initiation in India. You can check out more details about it here. What’s to be noted is that this list does not include Ola Electric which operates at the same scale as other mainstream manufacturers.
