[UPDATE: CFMoto has made its India debut with the launch of four products: 300NK, 650NK, 650MT & 650GT. Head here for the pricing and other details.]
India will be one of the first markets where CFMoto will launch the 300NK
- CFMoto will bring the 300NK to India by the end of this month for homologation.
- The other two bikes, the 650NK and the 650MT, have already been spotted in India.
- CFMoto to launch two other motorcycles, the 400NK and the 650GT, before Diwali.
- Deliveries to begin 60 days after the official launch.
Chinese bikemaker CFMoto is all set to enter the Indian two-wheeler market next month. We have already seen the 250NK, the 400NK, the 650NK and the 650MT being tested in India. However, according to our sources, two new models, the 300NK and 650GT will arrive in India for testing soon. But the first ones to hit the showrooms will be the 300NK, 650NK and the 650MT. The 650GT, on the other hand, is expected to be launched around Diwali.
India is amongst the first international markets that will get the 300NK. The naked bike will share its design cues with the 250NK. We expect the 300NK to get the same digital instrument cluster as seen on the 250NK as well. The 300cc naked motorcycle will be powered by a single-cylinder engine. It will also feature two riding modes, disc brakes at both ends and a dual-channel ABS. According to our sources, the company will bring the 300NK to India by the end of this month for testing purposes.
Coming to the 650GT, it is expected to share underpinnings with its other cousins, the 650NK and the 650MT. The touring motorcycle, which was first showcased during the 2018 EICMA Motor Show, is likely to be powered by the same 649.3cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine as seen on the 650MT. The motor makes 70PS of power at 8,750rpm and 62Nm of torque at 7000rpm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. However, we hope its engine is tuned more like the 650MT than the 650NK.

There will be some changes in the design too. For example, the 650GT will get a new fairing and a different set of headlamps along with some other minor design tweaks here and there.
To keep the prices competitive, the motorcycles will be brought to India via the CKD route. The company hasn’t revealed the prices yet, but we expect the 300NK to be priced around Rs 2.5 lakh and the 650GT to retail for around Rs 5.5 lakh (both prices ex-showroom). AMW Motorcycles, which will bring CFMoto bikes in India, is currently planning to expand its dealership network. As of now, only two dealerships have been confirmed (one in Hyderabad and the other in Bengaluru), but the company is looking to open new dealerships in Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai.
