The Lectrix Nduro electric scooter has put through some challenging tests at the NATRAX testing facility in Madhya Pradesh. The NATRAX facility has some serious testing grounds where manufacturers from all over the nation put their vehicles through stress to mimic real-world conditions.
The Lectrix Nduro electric scooter was put through some challenging tests and here’s what we learned from them:
-
The scooter was put through a loose dirt track test and from the looks of it, the scooter performed well.
-
Lectrix Nduro also went through a water wading test which shows how well isolated the battery is which will be useful in heavy rains.
-
The scooter also did the Belgium road and potholes test, which tests the suspension quality, essential for Indian road conditions. The EV is seen to be holding its composure while delivering a good ride quality.
One of the major concerns of owning an electric scooter is whether it will be able to climb a steep incline with a passenger on board and Lectrix has tested that too. The NDuro was seen climbing up the NATRAX incline track with a pillion and it excelled at the test without facing a drop in performance. This result translates to better real world riding capability while carrying a load.
The scooter was spied testing earlier and from the design perspective, it seems to have a sharp, sporty and yet rugged design. We expect the top variant of the scooter to deliver a range of over 100km on a single charge which is quite sufficient. The scooter looks spacious even for two people with a large floorboard. It will feature all LED lighting LCD instrument console, telescopic suspension and twin rear shock absorbers and 12-inch steel wheels on both ends.
Launch Date and Rivals
The Lectrix Nduro electric scooter will be launched on the 3rd of December 2024 and once launched it will go against the likes of Ampere Nexus, Ola S1 X, Ather Rizta, Bajaj Chetak, Vida V1 and the TVS iQube.
