It Is available with a Rs 2,000 discount till July 15th and comes with a 3-year free service package

Does not require a licence to ride. The electric moped offers a range of 75km per charge.   Can be charged upto 90 per cent in two hours.  It is manufactured in India.

Gemopai Electric has launched the Miso electric moped at Rs 44,000 (ex-showroom). The new electric moped is manufactured in India and with the exception of the lithium-ion battery pack, uses locally-sourced components. The Miso is available at Gemopai’s 60 dealerships across India and the electric scooter maker is also offering a discount of Rs 2,000, valid until July 15th 2020.

The single-seater moped does not have any bodywork and is made up of tubular pipes. Its unique floating seat, floorboard-mounted battery pack and hub-mounted electric motor frees up a lot of storage space and you can easily transport large packages on the floorboard. It even gets an optional rear carrier that can hold items weighing 60kg to 70kg. Speaking of weight, the scooter weighs a paltry 45kg but can carry loads upto 125kg. It gets all-LED headlamp lighting with an LED projector headlamp and an LCD instrument console.

Power comes from a 250-watt hub-mounted electric motor that allows the electric moped to reach a top speed of 25kmph-35kmph. It gets a lithium-ion battery pack that offers a range of upto 75km. Charge time is 3 to 4 hours but Gemopai claims that the battery pack can be charged upto 90 per cent in two hours. The electric moped gets conventional telescopic forks and dual shock absorbers. It has 16-inch alloy wheels wrapped in tubeless tyres and drum brakes at both ends.

The Gemopai Miso electric moped makes sense if you have been on the lookout for an economical way to carry small goods around. With its utilitarian approach, the Miso electric moped is perfect for delivery personnel. If you want a conventional moped, TVS sells the XL 100 that can carry more weight and feels sturdier.
