Electric two-wheeler manufacturer Gemopai is all set to launch its new Miso mini e-scooter in India by June 2020. The teased scooter has been designed to promote social distancing by offering only a single seat option. It’ll be available in two variants: one with a loading carrier for B2B (business to business) transport services and the other without it for daily commutes. The folks from Gemopai claim the scooter can run about 65km on a single charge.
As per Gemopai’s claims, the Miso will be locally assembled/manufactured, with the exception of the battery, unlike most electric two-wheelers that are imported from China and sold in India. While details are scarce, we managed to decipher a couple of features from the teased image. For instance, the mini scooter is likely to feature a telescopic fork and a twin shock absorber setup at the rear. From the looks of it, the scooter may draw power from a hub motor with the battery pack placed under the floorboard.
The wheels appear to be 12-inch units wrapped around slim tyres. As for its design, it seems to be pretty simple with just the bare minimum used for bodywork. This also hints at the fact that the scooter may be priced attractively to appeal to the masses.
