Harley Davidson has revealed the specifications of its recently unveiled Street 750 motorcycle. The Indian debut of the bike will be held during the 2014 India Bike Week.
The new Harley Davidson Street 750 sports a new X engine, which is specially designed for the urban riding. It is a 749cc, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, 4-valve per head, SOHC, pure H-D 60° V-twin engine, which is mated with a six speed gear-box.
Power and toque goes to the rear wheel through the H-D's conventional smooth belt drive.
The signature H-D sound coming from the deep thumping V-twin, which has been tuned to perfection in their state-of-art sound testing facility at Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The bike has been designed for the tight turns and quick moves on the urban streets. The new chassis has been made lean and narrower than the conventional H-D chassis and wide handle-bar makes it easy to control.
Stylish LED rear-lamp and tiny bullet indicators enhances the appearance of the bike.
Following the tradition, the bike comes with all metal body having a 3D Harley Davidson emblem on its fuel tank and a customised open type air-filter.
Unique 9 spoke alloy wheels go with its all black theme and the chrome finish at the edges of the spoke gives a great feel.
The 17-inch Front wheel is covered with a skinny tyre for easy steering, while 15inch rear wheel comes with a wide tyre for better stability. Both the front and rear wheels are equipped with disc brakes for better braking.
