Have A Look At These Gorgeous Honda ADV160s

Modified On Jul 14, 2022 05:55 PM By Nishaad for Honda PCX160

One’s a classy-looking urban scooter while the other is a rugged-looking, touring-friendly one

While launching the ADV160 earlier this month in Indonesia, Honda also displayed two modified ADV160s to promote customisation of the scooter among the customers. The scooters were modified by Katros Garage. Have a look at what these two scooters pack:

While the ADV160 is designed as an adventure scooter, the first modded iteration is a classy-looking and practical street one. The ‘Street’ badging along with the upside down bar-end mirrors show the scooter’s urban intentions.

What immediately catches the eye is the beautiful paint scheme, giving the scooter a rather sleek look. The paint scheme gels beautifully with the new blacked-out, smaller windscreen and alloys that the scooter gets.

Further complementing the attractive livery is the aftermarket gold-finished Scarlet inverted fork, an update over the telescopic fork that the ADV160 gets. Other aftermarket parts include calipers and hand grips from RCB (Malaysian company) and tyres from Bridgestone. Completing the look is a chunky Arrow exhaust.

The second scooter dials up the ADV160’s adventure genes to eleven. Covering the apron and all the way along the floorboard are crash guards with fog lamps on each side of them. The tall windscreen, hand-guards, inverted fork, top box and a camouflage colour scheme and graphics give the scooter a ‘go-anywhere’ look. The paint scheme coupled with the orange-finished alloys on the scooter are bound to grab a lot of attention.

The aftermarket bits on this scooter are brake calipers, master cylinders and hand grips from RCB, along with a new seat, radiators and air filter.

Mechanically, the scooters are unchanged. At their heart is the Honda PCX160’s 156.9cc liquid-cooled engine that makes 16PS and 14.7Nm, which is 1.5PS and 0.9Nm more than the Honda ADV150. It, in fact, makes 1PS and 0.8Nm more than the Yamaha Aerox 155 as well.

Available in six colours, the Honda ADV160 retails at IDR 36 Million (approximately Rs 1.90 lakh) for the CBS (Combined Braking System) variant and for IDR 39.25 Million (approximately Rs 2.07 lakh) for the dual-channel ABS variant.
