Honda Activa 6G Standard vs Premium Edition: Differences Explained In Photos
The Premium Edition offers a few neat aesthetic features over the standard model, and here's an up-close look at them
After teasing its launch not once, but twice, Honda launched the Activa 6G Premium Edition for Rs 75,400 (ex-showroom Delhi). So what exactly is different on the latest variant of India’s best-selling scooter? Let’s find out, through images:
The first difference that you notice up front is the gold-coated chrome garnish that the Premium Edition gets on the front apron. The standard Activa 6G’s design, on the other hand, is familiar, looks proportionate and is elegant. It doesn’t get the chrome garnish and looks a bit bland when compared to the Premium Edition.

The Premium Edition also features gold-coloured steel wheels and badges, further accentuating the premium feeling. That said, we wish Honda had given alloys in the Premium Edition. You get neatly-finished white steel wheels on the standard version of the Activa 6G.
To top it all off, you also get a 3D golden emblem as well as a logo on the Premium Edition that says ‘Premium’. It’s available in a total of three exclusive colours: Matte Sangria Red Metallic, Matte Marshal Green Metallic and Pearl Siren Blue. The standard Activa 6G meanwhile, is available in six colours.
Mechanically the scooter is unchanged with its 109.5cc engine making 7.79PS and 8.84Nm. A price tag of Rs 75,400 (ex-showroom Delhi) means you get a more stylish-looking scooter for Rs 1,000 more, over the DLX variant’s price. That said, we wish Honda had thrown in some more goodies, like a front disc brake and a semi-digital instrument cluster. Maybe the Japanese giant is reserving that for the Activa 7G?
