Prices of most Honda two wheelers have remained as is, with the exception of the Honda Livo and the Shine. The Livo has undergone a price reduction by Rs 1,579 (for the drum brake variant) and Rs 2,265 (for the disc brake variant). This move could be to promote sales in these pandemic-stricken times as sales have been low.
Meanwhile, the Shine sees a nominal increment of Rs 1,072 for both its variants. We think this is to boost revenue as the Shine is Honda’s best selling commuter offering. No visual or mechanical changes have been made to either bike.

Honda’s ridiculously priced big bikes also retain their astronomical prices. Interestingly, even with these prices, the CBR650R was among the top five best selling big bikes, while Honda managed to sell just four units of the CB500X last month.
In other news, Honda is looking to up its ante in the market. It recently filed two interesting trademarks in India, a sort of Bluetooth connectivity technology and a Honda Hornet 2.0-based ADV bike.
