From ADVs, and roadsters to electric scooter, Honda Motorcycles has showcased a range of two-wheelers at the EICMA 2024

Honda also unveiled a range of new bikes and scooters at the EICMA 2024, including ADVs, roadsters to electric scooters. Here’s are the highlights from the Japanese bike maker’s stall at the motorcycle show:

Honda CUV e Electric Scooter: Activa Electric?

While we all are waiting for the Honda Activa Electric for the Indian market, the Japanese manufacturer has revealed a new CUV e electric scooter at the EICMA 2024. Now, the Honda CUV e has promising specs and can be launched as the Honda Activa Electric.

Honda says the CUV e has similar power as a 110cc petrol-powered scooter. The electric motor makes 6kW of peak output linked to two removable 1.3kWh battery packs. It claims to deliver a 70km range on a single charge and has a top speed of 80kmph. Featurewise, it gets a 7-inch TFT instrument console with smartphone connectivity, navigation, an all-LED lighting setup, a USB-C charging port, three riding modes, a reverse mode and more.

Honda XL750 Transalp

The 2025 Honda XL750 Transalp now features a new front design which is inspired by the new Africa Twin, with a similar dual-LED projector headlamp. It also gets new side fairings, making it look slightly more muscular than before. The XL750 Transalp also gets new suspension settings, which enhances its off-road capabilities and stability on bad roads. The same updates may be carried out to the India-spec Transalp as well.

The XL750 Transalp is powered by a 755cc, liquid-cooled, twin-cylinder engine that makes 91.7PS and 75Nm, paired with a six-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch.

Honda CRF300L and CRF300 Rally

The updated Honda CRF300L and CRF300 Rally were also showcased at the EICMA 2024. The dual-purpose bikes were also spied in India previously and may hit our markets in the near future.

The 2025 update for both bikes includes new colour options, a revised suspension setup, better heat management and a USB charging port. Both bikes are equipped with the same 286cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine which produces 27.3PS and 26.6Nm.

Honda ADV350

While the ‘Honda ADV350’ name may get you confused thinking it is an adventure bike, it is in fact a maxi-scooter. It gets new updates for the 2025 model year, including a new five-inch TFT screen with smartphone connectivity, a new four-way toggle switch, a storage compartment light, auto-cancelling indicators and new preload-adjustable remote reservoir rear shocks. The Honda ADV350 is powered by a 330cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that delivers 28.8bhp and 31.5Nm.

Honda GB350S or the Honda CB350RS

The Honda GB350S, which is also known as the Honda CB350RS has also been unveiled by the Japanese manufacturer. The Honda GB350S features a neo-retro roadster design and is equipped with a 348.36cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder, counter-balanced engine, paired with a 5-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch. It makes 21PS and 30Nm.

Honda V3 Engine Concept

Honda also showcased a new V3 engine concept at the EICMA 2024. Mainly developed for bigger bikes, the slim and compact 75-degree V3, liquid-cooled, engine features an electric compressor for motorcycles. The electric compressor allows the control of intake air compression independently of engine rpm. This provides responsive torque across the full rpm range. The electric compressor also allows flexible component layout and efficient mass centralisation within the limited space of a motorcycle.
