iGowise BeiGo X4: Made in India Leaning Trike To Get New Battery Pack In April 2024

Modified On Feb 21, 2024 02:22 PM By Govind for iGowise BeiGo X4

The new battery pack will come with a 5-year warranty

Bengaluru-based startup iGowise Mobility has announced a partnership with Haryana-based battery maker Ipower Batteries Pvt Ltd, bringing a new Lithium Manganese Ferro-Phosphate (LMFP) battery pack which is a specially modified version of the 'RugPro’ pack currently on offer to the BeiGo X4, a unique, leaning three-wheeled electric scooter. The main highlight of this 3.6kWh battery pack is that it has a claimed lifespan of 1000 cycles or 5 years of usage. BeiGo X4 equipped with the new battery pack will debut in April 2024.

The e-scooter comes with a practical and utilitarian design, featuring full LED lighting. The design overall looks quite funky with straight lines and sharp edges. It comes with a claimed range of 150km, with a 2.5 hour charging time needed to get the battery up from 0-80 percent. The claimed top-speed is 70kmph and can accelerate from 0-30kmph in 3 seconds according to the manufacturer.

In terms of underpinnings, the scooter is suspended on a telescopic fork and a monoshock. The e-scooter rolls on a twin wheel setup in the rear which means riders can travel with feet always on board, even when stopping in traffic. When cornering and turning, the BeiGo X4 is able to tilt making it more manoeuvrable.

Coming to features, the BeiGo X4 gets a massive 60 litre boot space and also the spacious floorboard which gives it a major advantage when it comes to carrying loads. Other features on the scooter include a fully digital instrument console with smartphone connectivity, which brings other functionalities to the table such as call and SMS notifications, vehicle health analytics and security features like geofencing. There are 3 riding modes on offer and also a reverse mode.
