Indian Chief Dark Horse Images Leaked ahead of its launch scheduled on 13th February

Indian Motorcycle has already announced to re-launch the Dark Horse edition of its popular motorcycle range- Chief on 13th February, 2015 in Chicago, USA. Now, here are the first leaked images of the motorcycle ahead of its launch. It is based on the Indian Chief Classic with some cosmetic changes in headlight unit and seat. The whole motorcycle has been painted in Matt Black colour to provide a wild appearance to it.
The Indian Chief Dark Horse houses the same iconic Thunder Stroke 111 engine, which powers the entire Chief range and the Roadmaster. The 1,811cc air-cooled, V-Twin motor comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. It makes 161.6Nm of peak torque at just 3,000rpm, which is transferred from the gearbox to the rear wheel via a toothed belt drive.
The Dark Horse will come with 46mm telescopic forks at the front and single-shock rear suspension with preload adjustable. It has 16" cast wheels with Dunlop Elite tyres of section 130/90 and 180/65 at teh front and the rear respectively. Braking system gets 2 units of 300mm discs with 4-piston calipers at the front and single 300mm disc with 2-piston caliper at the rear.
According to the reports, The upcoming Indian Chief Dark Horse is expected to be priced around $17,000, which is almost $2,000 lesser than the base Classic model in the range available currently.
