Indian Roadmaster to be unveiled with the Dark Horse on 7th May

Indian Motorcycle has announced to unveil Chief Dark Horse and Roadmaster in Bangalore on the inauguration event of its exclusive dealership in the city. Mr. Scott W. Wine- Chairman & C.E.O., Bennett J. Morgan- President & C.O.O. and Michael D. - Vice President- Asia Pacific & Latin America, of Polaris Industries will attend the event.

Indian Roadmaster is a super-touring machine, which is also the flagship motorcycle of the company. It is based on the same Indian Chief platform and uses the same Thunder Stroke 111 engine, which propels the other Indian Chiief motorcycles. However, it comes with some extra premium luxury features in the standard model. The bike gets hard front fairing and lowers along with over 140-litre of remotely lockable, waterproof storage. Other Features of the motorcycle includes, ABS, Cruise Control, Keyless Ignition, Horizon powered windshield, desert Tan genuine leather seats, tyre pressure monitoring, heated seats & grips, adjustable passenger floorboard, Bluetooth & smartphone compatible 200-Watt stereo system with AM/FM and many more. The bike has been priced at Rs. 34.95 lacs on the company's Indian website.

Indian Chief Dark Horse is the starting model in Indian Chief range, starting from Rs. 22 lacs. It is a cruiser like the Classic model, however, doesn't carry the extra cosmetic elements with chrome and glossy paint. As per the name, it comes with an all black theme using Matte Black paint finish on metal parts and black leather seat. Standard features of the bike are ABS, Cruise Control and Keyless Ignition.

Indian Motorcycle's Thunder Stroke 111 is a 1,811cc, air-cooled, V-Twin engine, which delivers torque upto 161.6Nm at just 3,000rpm. It is feeded by a closed loop fuel injection system and comes mated to a super-smooth 6-speed gearbox using a wet multi-plate clutch assembly. The combination of this iconic motor and legendary motorcycle provides an ultimate riding pleasure to the rider.
