It takes a lot of courage to ride a motorcycle, especially a beast like the Suzuki Hayabusa. The guy in the video took this legendary superbike to an insane speed of 218mph. He likes to call it the ‘Big Bertha’, which is a euphonious term used for an unusually large example of a class of object.
Earlier this month, the Japanese automaker started assembling this legendary machine in India resulting in a price getting drop of over Rs 2.37 lakhs . Introduced in 1999, the monstrous Busa as people love to call it, took over the playing field and became one of the most talked about motorcycles in the history of two-wheelers. It was launched to take on the Honda’s forerunner the Blackbird, which was the fastest motorcycle at that time.
Propelled by a 1340cc, 4-stroke, 4-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine that pumps out a massive 197bhp and 155Nm of torque. This powerful mill features SDTV (Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve) fuel injection system with dual 12-hole, fine spray injectors per cylinder and a ram air intake with large volume air box. This beast of an engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission.
