The TVS Jupiter 125 will likely be powered by a derivation of the TVS NTorq 125’s engine. Expect the scooter to have smartphone connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation at least as an option. Will compete with the Suzuki Access 125, Honda Activa 125, Yamaha Fascino 125, and the Hero Destini 125.4Looks like TVS is getting ready with yet another launch scheduled on October 7. The Hosur-based company’s latest teaser video on social media shows indicators with integrated LED DRLs. Interestingly, the shape of the indicators is similar to the 110cc TVS Jupiter, possibly indicating that the upcoming two-wheeler could indeed be the TVS Jupiter 125.
The TVS Jupiter 125 is likely to be powered by a derivation of the TVS NTorq 125’s engine. In the sporty scooter, the three-valve 124.8cc single-cylinder fuel-injected motor churns out 9.38PS and 10.5Nm (standard variant). Expect the Jupiter 125’s heart to be tuned for efficiency rather than outright performance to suit its character.
The scooter will likely carry over the same set of underpinnings as its 110cc sibling. This includes the telescopic front fork, three-step rear monoshock, 12-inch wheels at both ends, a 220mm disc up front (could be offered as an option), and a 130mm drum at the rear.

Expect TVS to price the Jupiter 125 somewhere around Rs 70,000-Rs 75,000 (ex-showroom). Apart from the Access 125, the TVS Jupiter 125 will also compete with the Honda Activa 125, Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi, and the Hero Destini 125. The Jupiter 125 slots right between the smaller 110cc Jupiter and the more powerful and sporty TVS NTorq 125. It will also be the company’s first 125cc family-oriented scooter, aimed to disrupt the Access 125’s domination.
