iVOOMi Energy Launches S1 And Jeet New High-Speed Electric Scooters
Both e-scooters have a top speed of 65kmph with prices starting from Rs 84,999
The EV two-wheeler space has seen immense growth in the last couple of years with new launches happening every other week, following that bandwagon, iVOOMi Energy has launched two electric scooters. The high speed S1 e-scooter is priced at Rs 84,999 and the Jeet is available in two variants: standard priced at Rs 82,999 and Pro priced at Rs 92,999.
In terms of design, the S1 gets a sporty and sleek styling with a fascia mounted headlight, minimalistic appeal, single seat set up and a back rest. The Jeet on the other hand employs more of a neo-retro design that looks like a fusion of the Suzuki Access 125 and Vespa SXL 125. The Jeet e-scooter gives off a premium appeal with LED-lighting and bright colour schemes.
Powering the e-scooters is a 2kW electric motor paired to a swappable 2kWh li-ion battery pack on the S1 and Jeet Pro, whereas the Jeet standard variant gets a 1.5kWh battery pack. The e-scooters claim a top speed of 65kmph. Both S1 and Jeet Pro take around 3-4 hours to fully charge, and the Jeet standard variant has a charging time of 2.5-3 hours.
The iVOOMi S1 offers a claimed range of 115km, which is more than Bajaj Chetak’s 90km and TVS iQube’s 75km of range. Interestingly, the Jeet is claimed to offer a range of 130km, putting it in the premium scooter segment right next to the Ola S1.
Talking about the features, the e-scooters come packed with modern day essentials like a digital instrument cluster, USB charging, three ride modes, reverse mode, anti-theft alarm, parking assist, find-my-scooter and keyless operation, along with a massive 30-litre storage.
The iVOOMi e-scooters are extremely light with a kerb weight of around 90kgs, and also offer a ground clearance of 170mm, which is the highest in its segment.
Loaded with features and a competitive price point makes the iVOOMi e-scooters an attractive product in the EV market. The e-scooters will go up against the likes of Bajaj Chetak, TVS iQube, Ola S1 and Ather 450X.
