The track day will be held at Kari the Motor Speedway and is reserved for Kawasaki owners
In a bid to sharpen the riding skills of Kawasaki owners, the Japanese bike maker has announced that it will be organising a track day event called the ‘Kaze Race Track Day Experience’ at the Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore on 14 July, 2018. ‘Kaze’ means ‘wind’ in Japanese, which is one of the five elements in Japanese philosophy.
According to Kawasaki, the purpose of the event is to train riders with basic skills to prepare for more challenging tracks like the Buddh International Circuit (BIC) in Greater Noida and the Madras Motor Race Track (MMRT) in Chennai. The event is exclusive to Kawasaki owners and the participation fee has been fixed at Rs 7,900. The seats are limited and the event is scheduled to be held from 07:30 AM to 05:30 PM.
Only Kawasaki motorcycles with engine capacity of 900cc and above are allowed for this one-day event. This includes motorcycles from the Ninja, Ninja H2 and the Z family. Participants will be guided by top racing professionals from Rajini Academy of Competitive Racing (RACR), which is the brainchild of famed national racing champion Rajini Krishnan. For registration and details, Kawasaki recommends owners contact their nearest Kawasaki dealership. Expect Kawasaki to organise more events similar to this.
