Keeway Sixties 300i Retro Scooter: Photo Gallery

Take a closer look at India’s most powerful retro scooter from Keeway

A new manufacturer, Keeway, has entered the Indian motorcycle market by unveiling three unique offerings. One of them, namely the Sixties 300i, as the name suggests, has its design inspired from the grooviest decade. Here’s an image gallery of this retro classic scooter that pays homage to the decade of flared pants and rock music.

The fascia of the scooter packs strong retro elements fused with the latest functional hardware. Point in case, the rounded apron and fender complement the squared-off LED headlight rather nicely.

The instrument cluster further continues the fusion of modern and retro elements as it comprises a digital and analogue readout. The scooter comes equipped with ambient temperature gauge, tripmeter, fuel gauge and maintenance indicator among others.

A spacious cubbyhole is provided in the front that also offers a USB charging point and can store a toolkit, first aid kit, and still have enough space for small knick knacks.

A major eye-catching detail on this scooter is the front Cadillac-inspired grill that also houses the turn indicators. The red-painted mesh grill, along with the 3D embedded logo, conveys the retro 60s design perfectly.

The Sixties 300i also gets an LED headlight with a massive DRL that gives a modern touch to an otherwise classic design. The Sixties 300i is quite similar to the German Victoria Motorrad Nicky 300 scooter that's on sale abroad.

The scooter is powered by a 278cc liquid-cooled, single cylinder engine that produces 18.7PS and 22Nm. Furthermore, the Sixties 300i also gets LED tail lights complemented with chrome side accents that bear uncanny resemblance to a Cadillac CTS-V, thereby still continuing the sharp retro design.

While the scooter is designed to take you back sixty years, Keeway has provided a split seat setup that definitely looks comfortable, along with a small tail rack with integrated pillion grab rail.

The Hungarian retro scooter also comes with an underseat storage that looks large enough to easily fit a half-face helmet. This scooter also comes equipped with a generous 10 liter fuel tank.

Providing a throwback ride for the modern trendsetter, the Sixties 300i sits on 12 inch tyres suspended on telescopic shocks at the front and twin shocks at the rear. Prices are expected to be around Rs 2.30 lakh (ex-showroom), and it currently does not have any competitors in its category. Although, in the 150cc segment, you have the Vespa SXL 150 and the VXL 150 to choose from.
