Honda recently launched the Shine 100, and along the sidelines of the event, the Japanese bikemaker also revealed that it will be announcing its electric two-wheeler plans on March 29.
Likely to be a scooter, Honda’s first electric two-wheeler is set to debut sometime next year, this was revealed by Atsushi Ogata, CEO and MD of Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India, at the launch of the Activa H-Smart. The upcoming e-scooter will likely be based on the Honda Activa, the best selling product of the company.

Once here, the Honda Activa Electric will go up against the likes of Okinawa and Hero Electric scooters, both in terms of pricing and performance. It could flaunt a price tag of around Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom).
