New Hero Scooter Spotted Testing: Could It Be The Vida Electric Scooter?
The company has also registered the name ‘Maestro Xoom’ so there's that
[Update: The Hero Vida V1 electric scooter has been launched in India. For pricing, features and other details, take a look at the launch report.]
Days after the launch date of the Hero Vida Electric Scooter was revealed, a Hero scooter has been spied testing. Contrary to online reports which say that it’s the Maestro Xoom 110, we think the test mule could be the Hero Vida Electric scooter, given the similarity of the rear section of the two scooters. Hero could be carrying out the final round of testing for its first e-scooter, which is set to be launched this festive season, more specifically on October 7.

We think it’s the Vida Electric scooter, given the similar commuterish design, chunky grab rails and similar taillight. Sure, it could also be a new variant of the Hero Pleasure Plus, but our bets are on it being the former.
Interestingly, Hero MotoCorp has also registered the name ‘Maestro Xoom’, receiving the approval earlier this year in June. This comes after details about the Maestro Xoom 110 were revealed at a dealer event recently.
The Indian manufacturer could hence be gearing up to launch two scooters in India in the near future. Sounds exciting! In a related development, Hero recently updated the Splendor Plus with a new colour scheme.
