Odysse V2 Electric Scooter Launched, Gets 150km Range
The V2 costs Rs 75,000 whereas the V2+ retails at Rs 97,500 (ex-showroom Delhi)
Ahmedabad-based EV maker Odysse has introduced two new electric scooters in India. The new Odysse V2 and V2+ electric scooters have been launched in the country at Rs 75,000 and Rs 97,500 (both ex-showroom), respectively. Bookings of both e-scooters are open online at Rs 2,000.
The company claims that the V2 has a range of 75km between charges whereas the V2+ delivers a range of 150km per charge. Both the scooters get a 3.5 hour charging time. The main differing point between the V2 and V2+ is that the V2 gets a 1.3kWh battery capacity while the V2+ gets a 2.6kWh unit.
Both the scooters get a 250 Watt motor, propelling them to a claimed top speed of 25kmph. This means they will not require a license to ride.
Other notable features include a keyless operation, all-LED lighting and a reverse mode.The ground clearance is a healthy 180mm and the kerb weight is a very manageable 75kg.
It gets a disc brake at the front and a drum at the rear. Both the scooters come shod with a 12-inch wheel at the front and a 10-incher at the rear. Both the scooters are available in a total of six colours.

Odysse plans to add two more products to its portfolio this year, and bring its total product range to seven models. Additionally, it has started production facilities at Hyderabad and Mumbai along with its pre-existing Ahmedabad plant. By the end of the year the company plans to have more than 100 dealerships across India. Odysse is also working on IOT (Internet Of Things) tech, and will be rolled out to its lineup soon.This is claimed to facilitate all their vehicles to be connected and enhance the user experience.
Currently, Odysse has the Electric Evoqis, Electric Racer, Electric Hawk and the Electric E2Go on sale in India. These scooters go up against the likes of the Hero Electric Photon, Okinawa PraisePro, and BGauss B8.
