Ola Ramps Up S1 Electric Scooter Production To 1000 Units A Day
The sales window for the second slot will likely open by the end of this month
After claiming to have shipped nearly 4,000 S1 electric scooters in December 2021, Ola has now announced that it has ramped up the production of the EV to 1,000 units a day. CEO Bhavish Aggarwal broke the news on social media.
While that’s commendable, it still is significantly lower than the claimed annual production of 2 million units. That said, the news should come as a breather for all the customers eagerly waiting for their scooters to be delivered from the first lot.
