Ola Electric offers a hardware update to fix navigation issues for free
The new MoveOS 2.0 for the Ola S1 Pro electric scooter improves the user experience by sorting out several issues in the electric scooter, besides adding new, useful features. We got a chance to test the electric scooter with the new OS, and in our experience, the working of the navigation function wasn’t exactly consistent. Some of the locations weren’t showing up on the screen, and it often threw up a ‘Server Unreachable’ error.

The upgrade involves the installation of a GPS antenna in the electric scooter, to help it receive signals better. Users can access the Ola app and press the ‘Call Vehicle Support’ button, and raise a voluntary upgrade request.
Apart from improved navigation, the MoveOS 2.0 also offers music function, an Eco riding mode, and cruise control as well. That said, a few features are still missing. You can read all about the hits and misses of the new OS here.
