Suzuki Burgman Street Launched In Blue Colour
There’s no additional premium for the new colour variant
With the new colour, the Suzuki Burgman Street BS6 is now available in 5 colour options in total. There have been no other changes apart from the new colour scheme. The maxi-styled scooter is priced at Rs 79,700 (ex-showroom Delhi).Suzuki India has launched a new colour variant for its maxi-styled scooter, the Burgman Street BS6. The new colour option is called Pearl Suzuki Medium Blue No. 2. There are no additional liveries, making this colour variant look properly smart. However, it’s a little disappointing to us enthusiasts as we expected Suzuki to launch the MotoGP Edition which it unveiled at the Auto Expo back in February this year.
But the good news is, this colour variant costs the same as the rest of the colours, at Rs 79,700 (ex-showroom Delhi). There are no other changes apart from the new paint job. The Burgman Street employs a 124cc single-cylinder SOHC 2-valve motor which churns out 8.7PS at 6750rpm and 10Nm at 5500rpm. It comes with a full-LED headlamp, fully digital instrument cluster, a windscreen and apron-mounted foot boards for a more relaxed ergonomics.
Underpinnings include telescopic front fork, rear shock absorber, 12-inch front and 10-inch rear alloy wheels with 90-section tubeless tyres on both ends. The Burgman Street BS6 comes to a halt using a disc up front and a drum brake at the rear with CBS as standard.
Some of the alternatives to the Burgman Street BS6 include the Honda Grazia 125, Hero Maestro Edge 125 Fi, Yamaha Ray ZR 125 Fi, TVS NTorq 125 and the upcoming Aprilia SXR125.
