Ever since its debut in 2016, the Tork T6X has been one of the most highly anticipated electric two-wheeler. In fact, we were the first ones to spot the production model undergoing tests in Pune. Now, the company has released a teaser trailer, giving us a brief idea of what the production-ready model may look... err… sound like. Here's the full teaser:
Compared to the early prototype model, the Tork T6X has gone through a lot of revisions. Here's our detailed report on it. The production-spec version of the electric two-wheeler will pack a 6kW brushless DC motor which claims to make 27Nm of instantaneous torque.
Tork also claims the T6X can hit speeds between 85kmph to 100kmph and offer a range of 100km. In case you run out of juice, the company says the 72Ah lithium-ion battery can be charged to up to 80 per cent in just one hour.
The Tork T6X is also rumoured to come equipped with a highly intuitive digital instrument cluster with cloud-based connectivity, something similar to the one we’ve seen on the Ather 450 electric scooter.

All this sounds expensive, right? Well you could be in for a surprise. Considering that the Tork T6X might be eligible for FAME-II benefits, we can expect it to be priced around Rs 1.5 lakh (ex-showroom). What remains to be seen is how it’ll fare against the upcoming Revolt electric two-wheeler, which in itself is quite impressive. As to when we’ll see the T6X in the streets, expect it to be launched by the end of this year.
