Triumph at 2016 Auto Expo

Triumph Motorcycles Ltd is the largest British motorcycle manufacturer. Established in 1902, it produces around 50,000 units every year. This iconic British automaker entered the Indian market in November 2013. Since, the time it was introduced in the Indian two-wheeler market, the company has never looked back and is doing pretty well here. Presently, the company has its CKD assembly plant in Manesar, Haryana. The company offers motorcycles in four ranges namely - Adventure & Touring, Classics, Cruisers, and Roadsters and Supersports. Like the previous editions, Triumph Motorcycle is likely to showcase some of its amazing products at the Auto Expo during the first week of February this year. Listed below are some of the motorcycles, which the company might exhibit during the expo.
Triumph Street Twin:
Triumph Street Twin is one of the motorcycles that are most likely to be showcased at the Auto Expo 2016. Propelled by an all new 900cc ‘high torque’ 8 valve, parallel twin engine that is expected to churn out around 54bhp and 80Nm. The bike is engineered with a charismatic 270-degree firing interval for smooth power delivery through a 5-speed gearbox. The company has used next-gen ride-by-wire fuel injection technology and engine management system for instant throttle response. The new Street Twin is built around a Tubular Steel Cradle frame having Kayaba 41mm forks at the front and Kayaba twin shocks with adjustable preload at the rear.
Triumph Bonneville T120
Triumph Motorcycles India is all set to decorate its display at the Auto Expo with the legendary ‘59 Bonneville’ inspired, the T120 followed by launch later this year. Thanks to its deep chrome badges, wheel rims, grab rail and twin skinned chrome exhaust headers, the T120 features a beauty of old-school detailing. The bike gets a 1200cc power plant that is capable enough to pump out massive 105Nm of torque at just 3,100rpm. Coupled to a 6-speed gearbox, its 120cc engine uses ride-by-wire technology and an engine management system. Other features of the motorcycle include ABS, Traction Control, Slip Assist clutch, heated grips, fingertip controls, DRL headlight, LED tail lamp, engine immobilizer and USB charging point.
Triumph Thruxton
Another motorcycle to add in Triumph Motorcycles Indian fleet is, the 2016 Thruxton. The new Thruxton gets a 1200cc parallel twin engine that develops 112Nm of maximum torque at 4,950rpm, rest of the details are to be disclosed at the Auto Expo. Other features of the motorcycle include clip-on bars, fully adjustable suspension, aluminium rims and swing-arm.
