TVS iQube Electric: Variants Explained
Planning to get the new TVS iQube Electric but confused about the variants? Here’s all you need to know
TVS has given its iQube Electric scooter its first major update since it was launched in 2020. The scooter will now be offered in three variants, and today, we’re telling you all about them.
Charging and Range
The powertrain remains the same across the iQube range. The electric two-wheeler has a 3kW rated motor with a peak power output of 4.4kW. But, the same is not the case with the battery pack. While the standard and S variants use a 3.04kWh battery, the top-spec ST has a 4.56kWh pack. As a result, the charging time and range varies across the variants as shown below:

Since the base and mid variant get the same battery and charging options, they offer similar range. However, the top-spec iQube ST gets a bigger battery, along with higher rated chargers, resulting in faster charging time and an increase in range too.
Performance
As there are slight differences between each variant, dissimilarities in weight and performance among them is inevitable as shown below:

Underpinnings and Features
All three variants of the iQube get the same underpinnings. However, only the S and ST grades get adjustable rear suspension. The major differences between the variants are shown below:

Our Pick
While the prices of the base and mid variant of the iQube are known, TVS is yet to reveal the price of the iQube ST. Price is definitely a contributing factor while making a purchasing decision, and although the top variant does stand out in the iQube line-up, a high asking price could work against it. But, if it is priced competitively, there would be a rather compelling case to buy the iQube ST.
